I would be interested in 2 such drop points, I would prefer a hardwood handle, ironwood/teak. Could we make this work?

The Fallknivens are great knives but I bet a Dozier Knife out of D-2 would make your PH like you even better. They are a superior cutting tool

This link has several Dozier skinners that are well within your price range and available immediately

(and no I don't work for them I just love great knives).....DJ

Howdy all, especially you custom makers.
I need a "tip" knife for my PH in Natal. Currently he carries a folding POS. It is terrible! No one should have to go around with such junk in their pockets. So, I want a drop point hunter in something a little easier to sharpen than D2 with a micarta grip and leather sheath. The blade ought to be about 3.5" long. This is working knife, not an artwork. What can I get before the middle of January (the SCI convention) for $200-250? Help?
