You may remember from my previous post about the old Ka-Bar knife I found when I was a kid. Well, I ordered a set of leather pieces for the handle and rebuild it. I say “rebuilt”, because I’m not qualified to restore it. I just wanted to bring it back closer to it original look. It was already pretty rough, as it had a chuck knocked out of its spine. Anyway, I think it looks better… for what it’s worth. Before…… After…… Shoot Safe, Mike NRA Endowment Member

That is a great improvement. Too bad the knife could not tell the tales of the adventures she went through before you found her. Don't limit your challenges . . . Challenge your limits

Yes, Indeed! I have though the same over the years on the same subject, concerning not just knives, but guns, + hats as well. Don't laugh; those old timers wore their hat EVERYWHERE, so the stories would have been wide, broad, + very entertaining, almost like the brim.
