They did in fact make fewer 'black' ones so I suppose their relative value would be higher. I haven't seen a lot of high prices fetched by them at any rate--but then again I haven't been a big peruser of E-bay, and I know people get ridiculous prices for some items there so...........

While at a gunshow in Albuquerque, I as talking to a fellow who was telling me all about the Buck Buckmaster knives - he was advising me the black finished Buckmasters were more rare than the stainless steel finished ones. I know very little about the Buck line. Was this fellow telling me a story or are the black ones more valuable than the others. I was just wondering. Thanks.
