I believe it is a Japanese bayonet. wW2 or earlier.

I came across this in my fathers belongings. He was a navel officer during WW2.

My father was in Okinawa during the battle. He brough5 home bayonet as well. His hassame blade and handle shape but has a curved hand guard and different markings. There were many models of Arisaka bayonets.
