This Bowie knife has a 13 inch blade with a Dog Star pattern Damascus. The handle is fossil Walrus ivory with a bit of engraving and gold inlay. He wanted a 1/8 inch thick gold escutcheon plate that was not engraved, so he got it too. I spent a lot of time on this rascal.
