The Buck set you refer to was called the Skinner-Caper set. It contained their standard fully belly skinner plus a narrow blade caper all packed in one sheath. I have a set that I've used and while of typical good Buck quality I found that I rarely needed both knives and the black plastic handles were a little slippery when blood covered. Was a good idea and probably better suited to guides and professional skinners who would use both knives regularly. Sorry, don't want to sell my set though before you ask. I'll bet any good knifemaker could make you the same setup but I would urge you to think about how much you will really need both knives. I find myself carrying one good short bladed drop point to meet all my needs. Good luck Paul | ||
