I worked up to 41.0 of RL-15 in my savage model 11 and at a 100 yds. it shots 1" 3 shot group. I haven't tried to go higher don't think I need to. My powder thrower 2 to 3 hundered off one way or the other, does anyone think that would make a difference in a hunting load?

Hi

I am using 41.5 Gn RL15 in a Sako75 III, with a LW 1-10 twist barrel @ 22" length from the bolt face. This is under 140Gn Accubond and the same for 140Gg NBT, gives .3 MOA groups at 2830 fps. That's with Norma brass and Federal GM210M primers at 35 thou off the lands.

Fallow hate it! I use it on Roe as well with little meat damage.

Great load, with no pressure signs and IMHO quite quick enough.
