Steve

My mini mauser was originally a 22/250 so the boltface didn't have to be opened.

good luck

I thought about the 7.62x45mm Czech round as I have brass and dies but have to see what I will have to do to make it fit. Or the 7.62x39mm Imp. it's a neat looking little round.

Don't have the chrono setup yet. Quickload says 2300 fps at 40k psi.

I rebarreled one in 6mmBR with a Lothar Walther barrel. It shoots clover leafs at 100 yds.

Try to look unimportant. Your enemy might be low on ammo.

Try 28.5 grains of Reloader 7 and YOUR CHOICE of 120 grain bullets. Velocity will be in the 2480-2600 range. Accuracy may astound!! 14" XP's or 20" custom built rifles.........not much variation. And by the way, 120BT's or 120 VMAX's kill big vermin(deer) and little vermin(groundhogs) quite well!! 120 Sierra's are also accurate and effective!! GHD
