Thank�s a lot for all helping. Now I have decided to go for the 45-70 becourse it looks like that caliber in a proper gun is able to handle most game in this world. In Sweden we have one old caliber wich is very popular as big game caliber. It�s 9.3x57. This caliber puch a 286 grains bullet at 2100 f/s, and many hunters belive that at this velocity the killing power is best.

In a test some years ago hunters reported how far a Moose had run before it died. Most calibers was used in this test, and the caliber 9.3x57 was the caliber that won this test. I don�t have any gun in this caliber becourse I really like the caliber 45.
