I'm going to Alaska for 3 weeks this fall. I usually shoot the partitions. I'm thinking maybe the 235 barnes might be more accurate out at 300 yards. His anybody done any long range shooting with these two bullets? Thanks

I just returned from a South African Safari and one of the hunters was using a Serengeti in 375 H&H and 260 grain Accubonds. I saw him make two long shots. The first was a broad side shot on a big Gemsbok at I think 350 yards. It dropped on the spot with a complete pass through. Two of us saw the blood spray in our Binoculars. Later in the day I saw him shoot a Red Hartebeest at 362 yards on two laser rangefinders. The Hartebeest was faceing us and he said he aimed at his nose. He hit directly in the chest/neck area and dropped him on the spot. Even the PH was impressed with that shot. There was massive amounts of blood on both shots. He was using a Leupold 30mm 1.5x6 set on 6x for the shot. Nosler states that both the Accubond and the Partitions are designed for the same results but the Accubond is longer and has a higher BC.
