i would be afraid of the 06 cases.they would not be suported where the belt is supposed to be.

Eric Check the dimensions on the 240 belt. It is the same dimension as an 06 based case is just in front of the extractor cut.The body of the 06 case is reduced in front of this to actually form a belt.This is done with a case forming die. I have some cases that have been fired close to 10 times and have not lost a single case.
