I wanted one to take to South Africa this year, I found that it kills very well, shoots very accurately, kicks very little and doesn't need a magnum length action. The old round predates the 30-06 and just does what needs doin' without a bunch of muzzle blast or blood shot meat.

Why would a "Hunter" need much more?
