I'm getting ready to load for a custom M70/Kreiger in 7mmSTW and i'm looking for long range, flat shooting deer load. I'm thinking the 140 Accubond should fit the bill, so I picked up a bunch. My bench currently has H4831sc, H1000, H4350, AA8700, RL22 and IMR7828 that should be appropriate for this round. Does anyone have a speedy recipe using one of these powders and 140 gr. bullets? Brass and mag primers are Winchester. Any help from rabid STW fans will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!Smiler

I get best results with 7828 with h-1000 a close second when using 140gr bullets.I will be trying the 140gr accubonds myself when they eventually become available in canada..

Layne Simpson data- I have used the 140gr-corelokt only for rabbits,139gr Hornady sp and 139 Interbond-Imr 7828 83gr max 3530av.fps out of a Wby Accumark. Win brass and Fed-215 primers. The Accubond's might have a longer bearing surface so step down a tad. I did not think the 140's in the Accubonds were out yet.?? And with H-4831-81gr max-3420av.fps

Go to http://www.shootersproshop.com for any Nosler bullet at good prices. The 140 grainers are seconds, but I can't tell the difference by looking. I haven't had a chance to load the 140's since my micrometer seating die crapped out but I've shot their seconds in other calibers and haven't found a measureable difference. Check out the prices.
