Anyone have pet loads with 375 RUM with 270 tsx or 250ttsx. I have a good 300tsx load just want to try the lighter bullets.

gerry, For the .375 RUM Barnes lists 97.5 gr of IMR 4350 for 2986 fps, but my load of 270 gr TSX, 95.5 gr IMR 4350, CCI 250, in R-P cases chronographed 3043 fps and 3 shot groups averaged 0.7" at 100 yds. My rifle is a stainless Rem 700, 26" barrel, KDF muzzle brake, pillar and full glass bedded with the barrel full length floated in a Richards laminate stock. (pictured in my avatar) I used this load in 2007 in the Eastern Cape of South Africa for 13 critters from Steenbok to Cape Eland. Longest shot was 348 yda on a Gemsbok, and shortest shot was 30 yds on the Eland. NRA Endowment Life Member

I just picked up my first 375 RUM, a Bansner on a Win Model 70 CRF action. The 375 RUM is a great cartridge, more horsepower and range than the 375 H&H, but without the "full Monty" of a 378 Wby.
