I haven't yet found a load. Too many variables...140gr TSX vs 160gr TSX. All I know is that RL22 and RL 25 do not work in my rifle. I do have some 7828 on hand and 140 Accubonds so I too will try that combo.

I do not shoot the stw, but a bud does. He also uses IMR7828 with a 140 bullet (btip)...uses it for everything.

H-1000 160 grain bullets, nosler manual very good,i don''t shoot 140''s at all,had great luck with r-22 and naked 150 barnes x bullets, buti''m sure the tripple shocks will shot better with less fuss, imr 7828 should be great also, non-preimum bullets turn into little umbrellas with this kind of power, also shot 1 moa at 1,000 yrds with 160 nosler partitions, its a great caliber best of luck with your new toy!!!!!! jjmp

Also with the same primer, bullet, case, and oal we get sub MOA accuracy and 3047 ft/sec wirh 76grs of H 450, and 3064 ft/sec with 77grs of RL 22.

I shoot a stock model 70.
26 inch tube. I use H-1000 and and a 160 grain Acubond. 3200 FPS and groups you simply would not belive.
The rifle seldom shoots a 3 shot group over .75 and the best group I ever fired was with this rifle and load. center to center .13 for 3 shots.
I recomend you start with federal mag primers as I jumped about 75 FPS when I switched from winchester...tj3006
