Varget and a CCI 250 with 75gr. Hornady V-max's 3775fps IMR 4831 and a CCI 250 with 85gr. Nosler BT's 3780fps RL 22 and a CCI 250 with 100gr. Nosler Partitions. 3400fps RL 22 and a CCI 250 with a 100gr. Barnes TSX 3440fps. All loads will shoot 1.0 MOA or less The TSX's will do an honest 0.75 MOA The barrel is a 25" RKS gain twist 1 in 22 to 1 in 11.5 All bullets are impact plated with moly. I left out the powder charges because they probably are a bit stout in convetional twist rifled barrels.

My 24" Rem 700 Classic shoots 100 grain Nosler Ballistic Tips with a MAX (like 3,531fps MAX) load of IMR4831 and Win cases with Rem 91/2 primers into tiny little groups. It's the only load I've ever shot in that rifle and I use it for everything from extreme range prairie dogs, to groundhogs, to big Montana mulies. "The .25-06 with 100 grain Nosler Ballistic Tips kill like chain lightning." My dad told me once that if you're gonna kill a rattler with a chainsaw, use the top of the bar.
