Is anyone loading .223 Remington with Vihtavuori powders, looking for some impoved accuracy loads. N135 is what I was thinking about trying. I have rifles with both 1 in 9 twist and 1 in 12 twist. Plan to load 52 grain,60 grain and 69 grain bullets. Any help would be appreciated. Jim

I have not used that powder ; It is how ever a very respected powder and should do well .
I prefer 25.5 grains of BL-C2 with 55 grain sierra's Hornady or ?.
69 Sierra's 23.2 H335 some success with 24.6 - 25.2 H 4895.
have yet to fool with 4198 or Varget .

jbok, My most accurate load with the Sierra 69 MK was with V V 135. I do not have the information available right now as I am packing for the big move. But by using normal work up proceedures I am confident you will find a stellar loading. I was using Winchester .223 brass and Fed 205M primers at 2.250 COL... If I was in my Forties I'd remember, but I'm not... damn.

VV N-135 223rem loads

52gr sierra HPBT - 25.3-28.1gr

60gr Hornady HP is 24.6gr - 26.6gr

69 sierra HPBT - 23.1-25.5

69 scenar Lapua - 21.6-23

thats out of the VV manual. bullets are pretty much interchangable

Excellent Post ; Load to the middle of those weights ; go up and down .5 Grain either side see what yours likes milder or wilder .
