I have a ruger m77 not a mkII. All orignal. I am looking for reloading recipes for it. I have access to books and stuff but would like some from some of us that have and use this rifle. Thanks in advance.

I have an original 77 in 25-06 with a 3x9 redfield 5 star scope and it is one of the most accurate out of the box rifles I have owned. My rifle is not a 77 varmit, but still has a very heavy 24 inch barrel, same size and diameter as the 338 mag 77 I had. My gun shoots bullets from 87-120 grains equally well. I've never bothered with bullets less than 87 grains. I particularly like IMR 4831 in my rifle. Most 5 shoot groups are under 1 inch at 100, but when going from 87s to 120s, you will need to adjust your scope/sights.

regards,
