Did some shooting today and I dont think Ill be going back to 4350 in my 06. Tried some W760 today with some very promising results. The bullet was a 180 grn hdy interlock, Rem brass, 22" bbl. WMLR primer. 5 Loads varying from 54.5 to 55.5 grains were .760 moa. 54.5 grns=2648 54.6= 2690 55 = 2706 55.5= 2766 55.5= 2774 I also found that strangley enough, a CCI 220 primer consistently yeilded roughly 50 fs more velocity than the magnum primers and will experiment with that more for accuracy when time allows. I really liked the difference in fouling with 760 too, 4350 made a mess of my bbl and the ball powder hardly foulded it at all. [ 12-01-2002, 10:17: Message edited by: Wstrnhuntr ] | ||
