I have run across some Barnes solids I forgot I had. I was experimenting some 10 years ago with a custom Ruger #1 rifle I wish I still had in .375Win. I was trying minimal velocities with solids. I now have a model 70 in .375 H&H and would like to know where I should start to load these bullets? I have about 100 of them. They are 270gr round nose solids made of brass or bronze. I have a lathe and am also interested in turning the roundnose into a flat meplat. What diameter would be appropriate? Thanks in a advance.
