Scott: For a 22-250 Remington using the 40 grain V-Max bullets, I can suggest the following loads. I would suggest that you start lower and work up to these powder charges, though. Using Remington cases, FED 210M primers, and the 40 grain V-Max I got good accuracy and speeds of over 4100 fps with both: 37 grains of H 4895 or 39 grains of Varget. Hope this helps, R Flowers

If you have any IMR 3031, work up to 36 grs and see how it works for you. I got 1 1/4 inch groups a 300 yards in my Savage BVSS.

Scott, 41grs. of H414, Norma brass, R9 1/2 M primers, 3800 + fps in my rifles and bug hole groups, this load fills the case well, no pressure signs in three rifles I own.
