I HAVE A REMINGTON 700 SPS STAINLESS 24" BARREL CHAMBERED IN 300 WSM.
LOOKING FOR SOME SUGGESTIONS ON RELOADS WITH SIMILAR GUN / BARREL LENGTH?
I'VE BEEN USING WINCHESTER 760 WITH BOTH 150GR NOSLER ACCUBONDS AND 165GR SIERRA SPBT.
THE LOADS IM USING CAME DIRECTLY OUT OF MY NOSLER RELOADING MANUAL. THEY'RE OK BUT NOTHING SPECTACULAR.
ANYBONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Get the 'power' or optic that your eye likes instead of what someone else says.

When we go to the doctor they ask us what lens we like!

Do that with your optics.

I own a Remington 700 XCR chambered in 300WSM and it has the same 24 inch stainless barrel.

With 180 grain Nosler Partitions or 180 grain Sierra Pro Hunters it shoots best with a max load of IMR 4831. It also does quite well with H 4350. My loads give groups well under an inch and a velocity around 2980 fps.

With either 165 Nosler Accubonds or 168 grain Barnes TSX bullets my gun shoots best with H 4350. A max load shoots quite well and gives close to 3150 fps.

Hope this helps.

I went to the range the day after posting my thread.
I loaded up 66.5 grains of W760 with the 165 grain sierra sbt. I could cover a four shot group with a quarter!! Im really happy with that especially since my rifle is straight out of the box.

You have done the shoot-and-clean thing ten times to break-in the throat?
