Are there any big-bore guys out there with a 404 Jeffrey, that would care to share their pet loads. I'll be using 350 and 400 gr. Hawk and Woodleigh bullets to start with.
Any suggestios will be greatly appreciated.

In my 404, using 400 grain Swift A-Frames, I get around 2170fps with 86 grains of VihtaVuori N160. You should be able to get more into the case and greater velocities, I just like that load in mine. You'll get higher velocity with the same load if you try 400 grain Barnes Banded Solids, around 2250fps.

Do you use any French powders? If you do the Tubal 7000 is the most appropriate. Reduce your load by 2 grains with TU 7000 for almost the same results.
