i just picked up my latest project from the smith. i had a pacnor 6.5-06 barrel(24") put on a mod 700 remington.

i curious about what 6.5-06 loads anyone else is using. what bullets, powders, velocities.

all input is welcome. thanks...bud

Nosler's manual has loads for the 6.5-06.I load the 6.5-06 AI.55 Grains accurate #3100,Fed 215 Primer,Barnes 130 Grain Triple Shock.I get .250 and less groups.

PO Ackley's Vol I &II have 6.5'06 data, it's hotter than most of the newer stuff, I based my 129gr. loads for my Sako AV action sometime back around his data.
I do beleive it was 55gr. of IMR 4350 and a WLR primer the cases were reformed Win. 25'06 cases.
I yeilded 3180fps from a 24" Douglas pipe.


I wish I never sold this rifle but I did.
