Thought I add my two cents worth to this old thread. I've been working on my S&R K31 loads for about 8 months now and these are what I've found to work in my rifles... Shot @ 100 yards, 4 round .812" group off sand bags. Remington 170g RN SP 30-30 bullet Winchester WLR primer Norma brass C.O.A.L. 2.755" IMR-4350 @ 49.5g Avg. Vel.= 2356 fps. Std. Dev.= 2.64 I also saw very good groups with charge weights of 50.0g and 50.5g with average velocities of 2398 & 2408 fps. For cheapo "plinker loads" these seemed to work... Shot @ 100 yards, 3 rounds, 1.10" group off sand bags. Military Surplus Lake City M2 ball pulled from 30-06 cartridges. FNM brass (shot once) WLR primer C.O.A.L. 2.965" Powder, WC-852 (my lot loads using H-380 data) Avg. Vel.= 2545 fps. Std. Dev.= 8.30 Also saw good groups at 54.5g & 55.5g with average velocities of 2572 & 2597 fps. And for the lawyers among us... As always, it is recommended you use the above information only as a base line and follow well established reloading protocol when attempting to use load data of unknown origin.

Sorry guy's I missed putting a charge weight for the Mil. Surp. M2 ball using WC-852. The charge weight should be 53.5g.
