Finally found a use for a bunch of WC 860 I've had laying around forever. WC 860 is a coarse ball 50 BMG powder and 150 grains under a 600 gr cast gas checked 505 bullet from Wisner's shoots a very pleasing inch center to center at 50 yards. My chrono isn't back yet but I know the rifle pretty well and I'd say its in the 2000-2100 fps range. Load density is about 105%.

Gonna smack some piggies with it in about two weeks!

I used the same approach with my .416 Rigby using 5010 or 860 and about any 400 gr bullet. Think I settled on 110 grs for about 2100 ft/sec.
