Hi everyone I am working up some loads for my 338 rum, so far I have only messing with the 180gr accubonds. I recently picked up a box of the 225gr accubonds and will be playing around with them. I have H1000, RL 22, I would greatly appreciate any data you could throw my way. Thanks Jon

I use 90 grains of VV 165 with 225gr. North Fork bullet, with vel. 3050fps. 1/2 inch group at 100 yards. This works just fine in my gun. Work up to all loads!

I had good luck with H-1000, and my brother in law uses RL-25. Its been a few years and I can't remember how much or how fast but it was accurate. The RL-25 seems to be way faster with tsx's than the RL-22. He was getting less than an inch groups and speed I can't post here. To say he is happy is an understatement! WOODY Everyone is allowed an opinion, even if its wrong.

Retumbo is made for the ultramag cases

The best loads I have seen for any of the Ultra Mags have been built around Retumbo. I use nothing else in my 7mm Ultra.

Was at the range today and tried the 230gr Lapua Naturalis bullet in a semi custom 338 RUM. It shot under .5 with 95 grains of RE-25 and a 215M primer. The 210 TSX shot equally as well with 93 grains of RE-22 and 215M primer. This is a freakishly accurate gun and non fussy with it's loads. The big 338/378 is getting the arse........it doesn't even come close in the accuracy stakes Verbera!, Iugula!, Iugula!!! Blair.
