Good choice. If you hunt deer, i recommend Swift Scirrocco, or A-Frame (140grs), with 43-45 grs VV160 powder, use normal "large rifle" primer.

My personal target load is 45 grs vv160 and a 130grs Norma DiamondLine bullet.

Here is another vote for re 22. I don't remember the exact load but seems like it was in the mid 40's and 140 gr Hornadays. Sub moa. Mine is a 1917 Obendorf 98 mauser restocked and Shillen barrel. It seems like a strong enough action to me. Maybe the Remington is stronger but I am not about to trade. "D"
