Has anyone worked up any accurate loads for the 375 Dakota cartridge? If so please let me know as there is not a lot of information out there on this particular round. Thank you, Dave

Contact Dakota Arms at 605 347-4686 and they will fax loading data to you. I do not shoot the .375 Dakota, but I do have several other calibers. The .404J parent case is quite roomy. Slower powders work the best. I use H-4831sc in all my Dakota cases with great results.

The only load I have used is 78.0 grains of IMR 4064, CCI #250 Mag primer, and the Barnes 250 grain X bullet. Accuracy and performance are excellent. This gets right around 2950 FPS. As odd as it may seem, the 375 is one of the Dakota cartridges that does better with a little faster powders. IMR 4064, IMR 4350, IMR 4830, RL15 and H4350 are all listed in the Dakota reloading information. The smaller Dakota cartridges all perform excellent with slower powder, like RL22.
