Is 8208 just too hard to find or are haven't you guys gotten around to trying it yet? Spoke to a couple of .223 bolt gun shooters recently who claim success with it AND, it is supposed to be insensitive to temperature.

Here is something I posted a while back...........

Been wanting to try some IMR 8208 XBR in the old spare parts rifle. See how it would do.
The wind has been blowing like crazy last couple weeks. Got out Sunday a week ago. It had laid to a modest 6-10 mph blowing from 10 to 4 from where I was shooting.
Just for shits and giggles here are six different bullets (loaded per book spec). All were shot off bench at 100 yds.
Enjoy

Recently developed a quick and dirty load for my AR using Win brass, CCI 400's, 23.8 gr IMR 8208 and the Sierra 53 spire point MK. 1/2 moa running 2830 fps from my 16.5" 1:9 twist Rock River. Extreme spreads in the mid 20's.
