Folks,
For sure performance on deer size game and great accuracy try
70.0 grains IMR 4350 and 165 grain Sierra BTSP with Winchester magnum primers.
Most rifles will give 3,000-3,100fps and superior accuracy (1/4 in range). Its also very mild with recoil about like a .30/06 and a trajectory very similar to the .243
Good shooting

dad uses the 165 gameking hollowpoint and 81 gr 7828 for 3200 and 1 inch groups at 200 from his 700 bdlss.

Most accurate load I ever fired in my 700 BDL 300 Win was the following.
168 Hornady AMax under 76 grs. of IMR4350 in WW brass lit by a CCI250 primer for 3250 fps and very good accuracy. Not a hunting load but fun to shoot.

I use 76 gr of Rel 22 and a CCI 250 with 180 gr Speer Hot Cores for Deer.

Also use 180 gr Hornady BT with 81 gr of Rel 25 and CCI 200 for Deer and Plains game.

When the going gets tough, I use 69 gr Rel 22 with CCI 250 and 220 Hornady RN.

I use Fed match primers 215, 75gn RL 22 ,165gn hornady BTSP.MY REM 700 BDL loves
them ,At 3150 fps 2 1/2 inches high at 100yrds =dead on at 300 yards. puts 3 shots in a dime.

180 grain Nosler Partitions, 77 gr of RL22 for 3040 fps in a 24" barrel re-chambered from .30-06. This rifle is free-bored and the load is maximum. W-W LRM primers.

Ruger KM77RSP 24" barrel

Win cases
WLRM primers
Barnes 180 gr XLC
78.5 gr R19
average vel : 3210 fps
OAL: 3.401"
group size : 1.5" at 170yds

My .300 WIN MAGin a remington sendaro likes 78.5 grains of imr 4350.i get 3505 fps and .523 M.O.A. with 150 gr nosler bt...great load for whitetail deer

My best load to date for my Browning Abolt 300 Win Mag is 165g Speer Grand Slam, Winchester Brass, Fed 215 primer, IMR7828 @ 82 grains. Avg. Velocity with crono is 3233 fps. Overlapping cloverleaf pattern at 100yd off bench.
