Just finished some fine tuning of a hunting load for this rifle. It is an Arisaka, with a 22" bbl. I have measured case web expansion and with this load it is .00015". Amazing that it can do what a factory load for the .270 can do!



Resized 7x57 R-P case

Rem. 9 1/2 M primer

48.0 grains H4350

129 grain Hornady Spire Point

2953 fps taken 10ft from muzzle with Pro-Tach chronograph/ 5000ft. altitude/ 75�F



PS: I could reach the same velocity with 47.0gr H380, but with steeper pressures.
