The following loads were developed in a Rem 700 with a Shilen select match SS barrel with a 1-9 twist that is 26 inches long. They work very well for me. I hope they work for someone else. 1. 60 grain Vmax - WW brass - 40 grains of H380 - Fed 210M primer. I have chronoed this load at 3640 using a Ohler 35 chrono. I use the same load for the Nosler 60 grain Partition. I have not chronoed this load, but I would think it would be within approx 50 fps of the vmax. 2. 75 grain Amax - WW brass - 42 grains of RL19 - Fed 215 primer. I have chronoed this load at 3270. Both of the above loads will shoot less than an inch at 100, but more important to me is that they will shoot less than 3 inches out to 300. Using these loads I can regularly bust standard size clay targets out to 400 yards. Pecos | ||
