This load worked great for me also. 55.5 gr Varget, CCI BR-2 , 210 NP, 30-06 WW brass formed to 338-06. 1/2 MOA load @ 200 yards. Moderate pressure. Thanks Rob

This is a great powder for the 338-06. I use it exclusively in my 338-06 AI. With the Hornady 200 gr, I went as far as 61 gr for 3049 fps. With the 210 Nosler, I was getting pressure signs at 57 gr (2944 fps). I use only CCI large rifle primers, no magnum primers needed IMHO. I was very pleased with these results, as they are running right with the factory loads for the 338 WinMag. I will drop down from both of these loads by a grain for regular working loads. No sense pushing things on an everyday basis. These were just the maxes I found during load development, and I have only worked with these bullets so far. maxman [ 12-04-2003, 21:37: Message edited by: maxman ]
