What happened to the Speer Deep SHOK bullet that was on the market a few years ago? At one time Federal offered them in a factory loads.

Hopefully they went the way of the Dodo Bird and the Passenger Pigeon......long extinct.

Bought 2 boxes each of the 165 & 180 grainers and couldn't get them to shoot worth a s**t in three differnt .30/06 Sprg. rifles after attempting numerous powder, primer, length combinations. Thankfully we shot them all up attempting to develop a load cause now that I think about it - if they worked on game like they shot for accuracy - I pity the poor animals.

Speer announced them, but only produced a select few.

I had empty spots on my shelves for 2 or 3 years awaiting bullets, and then they decided to drop them.

Try the Mag-Tips or Grand Slams for good results.
