Looking to get some loads for my friends 300 Win mag Tika. He is new to reloading and wants to shoot 180gr bullets especially the Barnes TS. This rifle has a box mag so the bullets can't be seated too close to the rifleing. any info from Tika owners would be great. Thanks

Donato, I have just returned from vacation. The information below is from my Tikka 695. It is one of my "will never sell" rifles as it is good looking and accurate! 71 grs. IMR 4350 Sierra 180 gr. Spitzer boat tail 72 grs. RL22 Sierra 190 gr. SMK 73 grs. RL22 Nosler Partition Gold. These are no longer made but were the Combined Technology black coated bullets. 74 and 75 grs. were also extremely accurate (sub one inch at 100 yards) 81 grs. H1000 180 gr. TSX All these were the most accurate loads. I did not do a lot of load development with the TSXs as there were too damn expensive! Peter. Be without fear in the face of your enemies. Be brave and upright, that God may love thee. Speak the truth always, even if it leads to your death. Safeguard the helpless and do no wrong;
