What is your favorite pistol powder for 9mm & 38 special? Considerations: accuracy, consistant metering and a clean powder. I have used HS6 lateley but it produces a residue that has caused a few malfunction problems. Your help would be appreciated. Thanks JB

Accurate #5... one grain slower than Unique. Meters like a dream and not dirty enough to worry about it. Six grains behind a cast 125 in the 9 or the 158 SWC in 38 Special, and you are good to go.

Universal Clays, very similar to unique, but very clean burning, very accurate in 9mm/38 special and lite 357 loads, not bad for 12 gauge field loads either. Very versatile powder.

I appreciate the suggestions, I have used Accurate #2 years ago with vert good results. May give one of these two a try. Thanks JB
