Not sure of the speed yet -- chrony at dad-in-law's. But...

found a great load. 55 grains using some old IMR 7828 that gave me some fun in a .300 H&H and a scare with a .270 Wby [Nosler data was erroneous].

The .280 shoots 175-grain Partitions into a quarter at 100 yds, drops 5" at 200 and 12 to 14" at 300 a couple inches apart. Data sheets says that happens at 2800 fps but I am expecting more like 2600 fps when I get the Pro Chrono back.

One shot check said 2500 fps?? Gonna try with IMR 7828 SSC.
