I loaded up some of these 100 gr. Nosler Ballistic Tips for my Model 700 260 Rem. Best results were with 41.2 grs. of RL15. A 5 shot group at 100 yards was .8". Here are the details: R-P case CCI BR-2 match primer 41.7 grs. RL15 100 gr. Nosler Ballistic Tip C.O.L. is 2.77" I don't have a chrono yet, so I'm not sure what the velocity is. I'm guessing 3050 or so out of my 22" barrel. I'm going to increase the powder charge a little, and see what the 2nd 5 shot group looks like. [ 08-14-2002, 02:13: Message edited by: todbartell ]

My 2nd group, with .5 grs. more RL15, went into 1.25". It was pretty windy, so I may have to try it again. P.S., I shot a coyote with the 100 NBT this past winter, and blew a huge hole in him at 70 yards. I would be a little hesitant to use this bullet on deer, but would have no doubt in it's effectivness at close range when placed in the ribs, away from the shoulder, or any other heavy bone. BTW, muzzle speed is 3030 fps with 43 grs. RL15, 22" barrel [ 03-20-2003, 02:59: Message edited by: todbartell ]
