8mman: I have worked up loads for an 8mm-06 Ackley Improved, P.O. Ackley recommended a 5% increase for A.I. versions so reducing by a like amount +10% would be a good place to start. Nozler 180gr. Ballistic Tip- Norma case, CCI 200 primer, 59gr (slightly compressed) IMR 4064. 2960fps (chronographed)3501ft lbs. Carries 2000ft lbs+ @ 340yds. Devastating on deer, same size exit wound on 60 and 225yd kills, quartering away and broadside respectively. Animals went < 5yds. Haven't done much with 200gr. Partion but 2800fps should be realistic with 63-64gr IMR 4350. I may try Reloader 19, for this bullet as I can't reach preesure signs with IMR 4350. (not enough case capacity) Very efficient round, SD seems to shrink went compreesed loads are used.

8mman I have an 8mm-06 that likes win 06 cases,CCI250 primers and 175 gr Sierra's.My rifle will handle a max load of 65 grs of W760 for a muzzle vel of 3000fps. Suggest starting around 60-61 grs.
