I have tried several bullet weights and styles but my rifle shoots much better groups with the 180 gr ballistic tip and r-25.It is one of the fussiest rifles I have ever seen but it is very accurate when it gets what it wants.

Stub,

I just traded my SF Sendaro in 300 Ultra.

I was using 95gr H1000, 168gr Hornady A-max, Fed 215 primers, and Rem brass.

Shot around 3/8" at 114yds.

Just something else to consider.

Good shooter little recoil.

Went for a new in the box (1980ish) Browning 71 in 348 - still hasn't been fired.

Well, that model 71 went for a NIB Ruger RSML MKII in 416 Rigby.

And the NIB 1895CB just went for a per 64 custom model 70 in 338-06

Pheeewww!!!!!!!!!!!

Good luck with the RUM.

Regards,

Mark
