My favorite load for my favorite rifle is;
225 grain Barnes X
62.0 grains Reloader 15
CCI - 200
R-P cases
OAL: 3.365"
Velocity: 2625 fps

The rife is a 1903 Springfield with a 22" Shilen barrel. Have taken antelope to zebra with this load/rifle combo and have been very pleased. Other good big game loads for this caliber have been with the 225 grain Nosler Patition and the 250 grain Speer. The 250 Speer holds together very well with muzzle velocities of 2550 fps. A good alternitive powder is IMR-4320. Also consider the 225 grain Nosler Ballistic Tips, they were the most accurate bullet and held together pretty well, though not to the same level as the Barnes X. Would be good for most medium weight, thin skinned game.
