Dose anyone out there have any experience with the .224 Speer simi-spitzer in the 223? I have used them in a 22-250, and I am wondering about using them in a 223 with a 1-9 twist. Accuracy? Penetration? cavitation? ???

Sir: I have shot the Speer .224 70 grain soft point in a browning a-bolt .223 that has a 12 inch twist. The groups were 7/8 to 5/8 inch at 100 yards. No opportunity to put one in a whitetail though. They were seated very long because of the gun's long throat. Good shooting. ned
