My all time .45ACP favorite is; 230gr FMJ I used to pull military ball and replace the charge with 7.2gr. of Unique. Be aware -- This load is "over maximum" in some loading manuals. This was a Cooper recommended load back in the '70's and Unique's burning rate may be different today, although I still use this load extensively without problems.

Carry load in +P from Hodgdon Data Manual #26 (1992): 185 gr. Rem. JHP (These feed well.) ------------------

PowderBurns: The Remington JHP is a good bullet--but did you know that you can buy the Hydra-Shok as a loading component? Take a look at the Speer GDHP, too. ------------------
