I use WW-680, AA-1680 is the same thing. RL-7 should work good too.

Standard weight bullets for this caliber are in the 120-130 grain range, but I found that using 28 grains of H335 with the Speer 180-grain .311" round nose in my SKS gives velocities and downrange performance equal to the ORIGINAL .30/30 Winchester loading of 1895, 1950 to 2000 FPS MV. And the SKS has a twist fast enough for this bullet. I also tried the 180 grain Sierra .311 PSP, but it is too long. Had to seat it too deep to use enough powder, so back to the RN Speer!! Now, were I to use the 7.62X39 for deer hunting, this would be my load. [Big Grin]
