Graham,
The best load I have found is
53gr Hornady match
24gr IMR 4895
Rem case
CCI 400 primer

Shoots 1/2" or less groups in my Savage
Good Shootin, Dale

Winchester WSR Primer
R-P Case

Shoots consistently under 0.5 MOA in my old Savage 342

22 grains of H322, CCI small rifle primer, Norma cases and a 52 grain Bruno bullet works well in my Remington.

I use 50's, but let me comment that 4198 is extremely accurate in my rifle and is considered by some to be the classic 222 powder through the ages. 20.0 IMR 4198 with 50 gr Sierra. Federal primer.

50 grain nosler or remington core loc and 20 grains of H4198 with a 7 1/2 benchrest primer does a good job in my Remington 700 varmint special.
