My no.1 was fine with 53 grs. of 4831 and the 150 gr. bullet, that's one strong action btw..MY favorite load in the no. 1 was 52 grs. of H414 with 130, 145 gr. Speer and 150 gr. Nosler partition, that was hot in my long throated Mauser, and rather mild in the no. 1
