I am in search of starting loads for 6.5-284 win with 140 gr bullets using Magpro powder.

I post the same ? but got no answers...I e-mailed accurate powders...they sent me a load book but no 6.5-284 in it. However, long range shooters are using 52 to 53 gr of H 4831 SC so this may be a safe starting point.....but you didn't hear it from me. shame

Ramshot Magnum is a bit slower and was used with great success. Data was available. Now they are generating data with the slightly faster Hunter and the results are outstanding. http://www.ramshot.com
