I have shot them using both 1 in 12 twist rifles and 1 in 8. Accuracy was excellent with both.

Both rifles have taken several black tail with them. If they deer did not drop instantly, then it stumbled and then dropped.

All distances were under 200 yds.

My powder of preference is 28 grains of H 380.

If I am using a 223 on deer, it is my " to go to" bullet.
