Have dies, have rifle, will load!

Would any of you be willing to share your .35 Whelen AI loads? I can hardly wait to get home and spend time in my reloading room. Thanks,

I had it re-chambered to a 350 Rigby, but when it was an AI, here are the loads I used:

250 gr hornady sp, 60 gr Varget, Fed 210, 2600 fps from a 24" barrel. This is a max load. Do not use this load with a partition, a-frame or X bullet. I used it with A-frames and they clocked 2700 fps, unfortunately downloads would not group in that rifle.

For plinking 12-15 gr of unique under a 158-180 cast or jacketed pistol bullet for 1200-1700 fps. Pretty much anything in that range will put 5 shots into an inch at 50 yds, and will take any small game critter you need to, with little to no recoil and mild report.

I used H380, 225gr bullets, worked up load and got well under inch groups. The brass I was working with had already been fireformed for the 35 whelen IE.
